King of Gods
Of all the gods was the king was Zeus. He controlled the weather. He was normally called '' The Thunderer' or 'The clou-gatherer'. His most powerful weapon was a thunderbolt. The Ancient Greeks thought that if lightning struck the earth it was a sign of Zeus being represented. He is a child of Chronus and Rhea. He is the youngest of all the siblings. Zeus was married to one of three sisters, Hera. She was the godess of woman and marriage.
